Many of us are familar with plant pots of many sizes, shapes and materials. Container gardening is using those planters instead of planting in the garden bed.

Depending on the size of the container almost any plant, shrub, tree, flower or vegetable can be grown. A variety of containers can be grouped together to create a pleasing arrangement on a patio, deck or balcony.
