Upside Down Tomato Growing Rightside Up
My upside down tomato plant is ambivalent. At least I think it is. I had planted it as a nice healthy sturdy plant. I wanted it to grow upside down.
I really wanted to show how easy it is to grow an upside down tomato. I also saw upside down growing as an easy way to make gardening more accessible and adapt it to the gardener.
Well nature and the plant seem to have other ideas. The plant is now gone from the kid on the monkey bar stage (see post here) to looking over the top of the basket. It almost seems ready to start to grow from the top as well. Since the marigolds haven't sprouted yet, the tomato plant may end up growing both upside down and rightside up as well.
